The central role of the library in a university is universally acknowledged in the academic world. So it is at Leyte Normal University (LNU), where it is believed that the quality of teaching and research in any unit of the University cannot rise far above the level of excellence of its Learning Resource Center (LRC). In fact the LRC exists in order to contribute to the realization of the University's objectives and to support its total program by acquiring and making available the books, materials, facilities, and services that are needed.
