Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives of the Research and Development Unit

Vision: A competent collaborator, producer, and disseminator of research activities and products both within and outside the university.

Mission: To promote and support research activities of the three colleges and the various departments and units of the university as they plan, develop, and implement strategies for building human resource capabilities and maintaining regional service leadership.

Goal: To establish a research culture whereby faculty and students undertake researches qualified for publication in research journals.

Objectives:

1.To empower all faculty members to conduct quality researches;

2.To support and upgrade research endeavors of faculty and students.

3. To publish research outputs in the LNU Research Journal and other professional journals.

4. To promote and utilize opportunities for research networking and linkages and identify resources for availment, resource generation and sharing with other educational institutions, professional associations and development agencies.
