Leyte Normal University (LNU) procured a bus last year and was brought to LNU on October 5 this year.

                The LNU administration acquired the bus through the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management for P1, 294,800.

The bus can be used for the tour of the students and likewise for the staff and faculty. It can also be rented by other   institutions.

On October 16, the bus was blessed by Rev. Carlito Loreto of St. Raphael Parish. Some of the LNU faculty and staff participated in the blessing ceremony. The Vice President for administration Dr. Marietta Arinto, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Leonardo Oñate, the Dean of College of Education Dr. Malaquias Conde, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Cleofe Lajara, Dean of  Arts and Sciences Dr. Rosalina Coral, Dean of Management and Entrepreneurship Dr. Conchita Avestruz. Dr. Victoria Diaz, Engr. Marmita, Accountant Dominador Espina, Mrs.Nilda Jamora, Liza Del Pilar, Anatolia Achazo, Juvy Mariano and Gerauld Lerios were also present.

                The bus has TV, DVD player, a CR and it is fully air conditioned. It can accommodate 45-50 persons.
