LNU-CAS International Webinar Explores Arts and Music for Cognitive and Emotional Well-being


In celebration of the second day of LNU’s Founding Anniversary, the College of Arts and Sciences organized a Livestream Webinar centered on the therapeutic benefits of arts and music, held on March 7, 2023, at the HRDC Multipurpose Hall.

The webinar via Zoom, titled “Fostering Arts and Music for Cognitive and Emotional Well-being,” was led by resource speaker, Mr. Fidel Josiah Delos Reyes, a renowned music therapist, pianist, and piano teacher from Germany. Through his expertise, Mr. Delos Reyes elaborated on the impact of music on the brain, discussing its ability to stimulate various cognitive functions and emotions, thereby serving as an approach to address various mental health challenges.

The hall was filled with attendees composed of students from different colleges, faculty, along with the Dean of CAS, Dr. Cleofe Lajara.
