LNU Features Festivals of the World in a Playground Demonstration


Leyte Normal University kicked off Day 1 of its 103rd Founding Anniversary with colorful performances during its Playground Demonstration, featuring the Festivals of the World on March 6, 2024, at the ORC Quadrangle.

The event showcased festivals from seven countries – Korea, India, Egypt, China, Africa, Mexico, and Brazil. The performances were by students from the Preparatory Learning Center (PLC), Integrated Laboratory School (ILS), College of Education (COE), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and the College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME).

University guests, City Mayor Representative Ms. Malou Tabao, Director, Commission on Audit Regional Office 8 Atty. Felix M. Basallaje Jr., and Mr. Dean Eric Endriano, Director, Department of Education Regional Office 8 Representative, graced the occasion, extending their felicitations.

The festivity is a much-anticipated tradition of LNU every Founding Anniversary that reflects the university’s commitment to providing excellent education, fostering creativity, and promoting global awareness.
