LNU Launches RITHMS; Reaffirms Partnerships with EV Stakeholders


Leyte Normal University launched the Regional Institute for Tourism and Hospitality Management Studies (RITHMS) program on February 16, 2024, at the Hotel Cresencia Function Room.

The said program pledged to nurture future leaders in the field, emphasizing collaboration between academia and industry for sustainable growth.

Joining the event are Hon. Remedios “Matin” Petilla, Mayor of Palo, and representatives from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Tourism (DOT), Technical Education and Skills Development Agency (TESDA), Department of Education (DepEd), Local Government Unit of Palo, and private sectors in the field of Tourism and Management.

Spearheaded by the university’s College of Management and Entrepreneurship, RITHMS is envisioned to be a leading institute committed to shaping the future leaders of the tourism and hospitality industry in Eastern Visayas.
