TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (March 3, 2026) – Playground Demonstration at Leyte Normal University (LNU) ORC Quadrangle.

Leyte Normal University commenced the second day of its 105th Founding Anniversary celebration with a captivating playground demonstration on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the ORC Quadrangle, highlighting the University’s enduring legacy and commitment to excellence.

University President Gil Nicetas B. Villarino delivered the opening message, emphasizing the anniversary as a celebration of LNU’s rich history and remarkable achievements throughout the years—serving as inspiration for future generations of Normalistas. Felicitations and messages of unwavering support were likewise delivered by distinguished guests: Maximo C. Aljibe, Director of CHED Region VIII; Corazon M. Alvero, representing the Governor of the Province of Leyte; and Helen Fabra, of COA Region VIII.

Through synchronized movements and dynamic formations, the Integrated Laboratory School (ILS) and Preparatory Learning Center (PLC) brought “Nature Balance” to life, gracefully embodying the beauty and interconnectedness of nature. PATHFIT 4 students followed with “Four Seasons,” a dynamic and high-energy showcase representing the warmth of Summer, the renewal of Spring, the transition of Autumn, and the resilience of Winter—bringing the anniversary theme to life and reinforcing the unwavering Normalista spirit across every season of excellence.
