Leyte Normal University’s College of Education hosted a comprehensive training-workshop titled “Training-Workshop on Table of Specifications Development & Test Construction” on May 6, 2026, via Zoom. The event featured expertise from resource speakers Dr. Ariel B. Lunzaga and Dr. Michael Dell Tuazon, who addressed topics such as Bloom’s Taxonomy and its upgraded version, the principles of assessment, and the role of TOS in guiding the construction of quality test items.

The workshop, designed to improve academic assessment strategies within the educational community, brought together faculty members from all colleges and provided them with a valuable opportunity for professional development. It emphasized the importance of creating assessments that align with learning outcomes and offered practical guidance on building reliable and valid test items.

Participants also had the chance to engage in discussion on how to apply the concepts learned in their own teaching practices, encouraging a collaborative environment for sharing insights and best practices.
