LNU Holds 84th Commencement Exercises for Education Students

Leyte Normal University held its 84th Commencement Exercises on June 9–10, 2026 at the Alba Hall, celebrating the College of Education graduates with the theme “Empowered Minds: Leading with Humanity in the Age of AI.” Day 1 honored graduates of Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED), Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNED), and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED), with Commencement Speaker, Dr. Karol Mark R. Yee, Executive Director of the Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM 2).

Day 2 recognized graduates of Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), Teacher Certificate Program (TCP), and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship-San Isidro Campus (BSENTREP-SI), with Commencement Speaker, Dr. Redentor S. Palencia, President of Samar State University.

The celebration of academic excellence will continue next week, with the College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME) on June 16, 2026, followed by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the Graduate School on June 17, 2026.

The university community joined in celebrating these milestones, making the ceremonies a heartfelt tribute to perseverance and achievement. LNU commends the accomplishments of its graduates, with the hope that they will continue to carry the torch of service and integrity wherever their journey leads.
