Leyte Normal University (LNU) joined the ASEAN Month Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony organized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office 8 today, 8:00 a.m. at the LNU Ballroom, in solidarity with the 59th ASEAN Day celebration and the Philippines’ role as 2026 ASEAN Chair.

The LNU Community came together in ASEAN-inspired attire, showcasing unity and solidarity with the ASEAN spirit. The activity was followed by a Parade of ASEAN Nations, highlighting the culture and identity of the ASEAN member states.

The celebration concluded with the awarding of the Top 3 Best ASEAN Attire for both male and female categories, recognizing members of the LNU Community who best embodied the colors and spirit of ASEAN through their attire.
