LNU, DSWD Launch Project SEEDS to Empower Community Enterprises

TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES – Formal Launch of the Project SEEDS (Sustainable Enterprise Empowerment and Development Services) held at Leyte Normal University (LNU) Ballroom Hall.

Leyte Normal University, through its Community Extension Services Office (LNU-CESO), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) officially launched Project SEEDSduring a ceremony at the LNU Ballroom.

The launch featured the ceremonial signing of a Pledge of Commitment, bringing together representatives from DSWD, the Department of Justice–Parole and Probation Administration, LNU, and DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPAs) to affirm their shared commitment to the project’s successful implementation and long-term community impact.

The initiative aims to strengthen community-based micro-enterprises through research-based and community-driven interventions, focusing on capacity building, innovation, technology transfer, financial literacy, market development, and business incubation.
