TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES — Leyte Normal University (LNU) formalized separate strategic partnerships through two distinct Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)—one with Guimaras State University (GSU) and another with Malaysia’s Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP)—held at the Office of the University President (OUP) Conference Room.

Leyte Normal University strengthened its local and international linkages through Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Guimaras State University and Malaysia’s Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS.

Spearheaded by LNU President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino, these Memoranda of Understanding establish a shared framework for joint research and publications, faculty and student mobility, academic innovation, international learning opportunities, and community engagement aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through these strategic partnerships, LNU continues to expand academic opportunities while strengthening its glocal presence in higher education.
