TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES – Global Horizons 2026 held at Leyte Normal University (LNU) HRDC Gymnasium Spearheaded by BSIT Unit.

Leyte Normal University successfully conducted Global Horizons 2026: Welcome and Internationalization Engagement on August 28, 2026, strengthening the BSIT program’s commitment to internationalization and global engagement.

The activity featured an internationalization talk led by Ts. Dr. Halimaton Saadiah Hakimi, Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), alongside academic engagements with Prof. Adrian J. Forca, Dean of the College of Science and Technology of Guimaras State University (GSU).

The program also included BSIT freshmen activities and research collaboration discussions, providing students and faculty opportunities to connect with international perspectives and explore academic and research partnerships.
