SDG 8 - DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

8.5 - Proportion of employees on secure contracts

To combat workforce casualization and ensure long-term job security across our academic and administrative communities, our university prioritizes stable, multi-year employment frameworks for all personnel.

This metric evaluates the proportion of full-time equivalent (FTE) employees—both academic and non-academic—holding contracts with durations exceeding 24 months, explicitly excluding temporary arrangements designated for parental leave coverage. By maintaining secure contractual standards, our institution fosters a supportive and equitable working environment, enhances workforce retention, and upholds ethical labor practices across all campus operations.

Number of employees

The university maintained a stable baseline workforce across consecutive reporting periods, recording an identical headcount of 351 full-time equivalent employees in both 2022 and 2023. Data for the 2024 reporting cycle remains unrecorded.

The headcount of personnel holding contracts exceeding 24 months stood at 43 in 2022, representing 12.25% of the overall workforce. In 2023, this figure dropped to 38 employees, bringing the proportion of long-term contract holders down to 10.83% of total institutional staff. Data for 2024 is currently unrecorded in the current available data.
