9.3 - University spin offs
To demonstrate institutional capacity for technology transfer and commercial innovation, Leyte Normal University (LNU) tracks the establishment and long-term viability of research-derived spin-off companies.
These enterprise ventures represent formal, registered businesses established specifically to commercialize and exploit intellectual property, patent rights, and technical discoveries originating within our institution. By evaluating active spin-offs that have sustained continuous market operations for at least three years, our institution validates its ability to translate academic scholarship into impactful commercial solutions, stimulate regional entrepreneurship, and foster sustainable economic development.

Leyte Normal University has just established its Technology, Business and Incubation Department. Although it has substantial, trademarks and copyrights. These are currently being curated.
