ALANGALANG, LEYTE – Leyte Normal University (LNU) brought together its faculty and staff for the annual LNUlympics 2026 on October 30, celebrating employee wellness, camaraderie, and unity through the theme “HONEY: Health, Optimism, Nurturing, Empathy, and You.”

Anchored on the tagline “Building Wellness, Strengthening Camaraderie, and Nurturing the LNU Community,” the event highlighted the importance of holistic well-being and meaningful connections among university employees. Through recreational activities, friendly competitions, and shared experiences, participants embraced the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and mutual respect.

The HONEY theme underscored the value of Health in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being; Optimism in fostering positivity and resilience; Nurturing in strengthening relationships and encouraging mutual growth; Empathy in cultivating understanding, respect, and compassion; and You in recognizing the importance of every individual in the LNU community.

LNUlympics 2026 highlighted how wellness and camaraderie contribute to a stronger, more connected, and thriving LNU community.
