SDG 5 - Gender Equality
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
5.5 - Proportion of women receiving degrees
To ensure equitable academic outcomes and student success, Leyte Normal University (LNU) actively monitors and supports the completion rates of female students across all academic disciplines, including STEM, health sciences, and the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
By tracking headcount data on female degree recipients relative to total graduates across these subject areas, we assess the effectiveness of our academic retention, mentorship, and student support services. Our institution remains dedicated to removing barriers to degree completion, ensuring that women who enter our degree programs receive the comprehensive guidance and resources necessary to successfully graduate and transition into impactful careers.
