TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (Feb. 4, 2026) – Pinning Ceremony for College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) interns at Leyte Normal University (LNU) HRDC Gymnasium.

The CAS of Leyte Normal University held a Pinning Ceremony on February 4, 2025, to formally mark its students’ transition from academic learning to internship.

Anchored on the theme “RISE LNU: Advancing Professional Readiness Through Internship and Experiential Learning,” the ceremony brought together students, parents, faculty members, and university officials.

In his message, University President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino reminded students that an internship is not a test of what they already know, but a preparation for what they have yet to learn. He also encouraged them to truly RISE—with Resilience, Initiative, Skills, and Experience—and to be Normalistas with dignity, excellence, and purpose.

This ceremony reaffirmed Leyte Normal University’s mission to produce competent, values-driven, and industry-ready graduates prepared to meet the demands of the professional world.
