In solidarity with the nation’s observance of National Women’s Month, the academic community of Leyte Normal University proudly wore purple attire and purple ribbons during the flag raising ceremony on March 02, 2026.

The sea of purple symbolized unity, empowerment, and support for women’s rights and gender equality. Faculty members, students, and university personnel gathered in a meaningful display of commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful academic environment where women’s contributions are recognized and celebrated.
