TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (March 4, 2026) – 1st State of the University Address of Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino, Fifth Leyte Normal University (LNU) at LNU HRDC Alba Hall

Leyte Normal University conducted the first State of the University Address of the fifth university president, Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino.

Held on March 4, 2026, at the HRDC Alba Hall, it was graced by the Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education, Hon. Michelle Aguilar Ong, faculty, staff, students, SUC Presidents and past president, industry and community partners, and representatives from local government units and national government agencies.

The address celebrated the university’s achievements, reaffirmed institutional priorities, and fostered stakeholder engagement in advancing the university’s goals.
