ORIEI Showcases Innovation at ORIE Fair 2026

PALO, LEYTE, PHILIPPINES (March 3-5, 2026) – ORIE Fair at Leyte Normal University (LNU) Palo Extension Campus
Weeks after the successful conduct of ORIE Fair 2026, Leyte Normal University continues to celebrate the strong turnout, meaningful partnerships, and dynamic exchange of ideas from March 3 to 5, 2026. Among the highlights of the opening day was the ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening program, attended by distinguished guests including DSWD Field Office VIII Regional Director Grace Subong, Leyte Governor Jericho “Icot” Petilla, and LNU President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino. Their presence attested to the significance of the event in advancing innovation, research, and extension initiatives through shared institutional support and public engagement.
The fair gathered external exhibitors from various state universities and colleges. Also participating were consortium partners, as well as government and private agencies. Another feature of the event was the Science Magic Show led by Prof. Reynerio Mendoza, which brought energy and excitement to the fair. In addition to exhibit booths, participating agencies also maximized the opportunity to connect with audiences through 30-minute presentation sessions, where they showcased their products, services, and institutional initiatives in a more interactive format.
Overall, ORIE Fair 2026 reflected Leyte Normal University’s continuing commitment to fostering innovation, strengthening partnerships, and bringing research, extension, and public service closer to the community.
