Leyte Normal University (LNU), together with the Eastern Visayas Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (EVCIEERD), successfully concluded its international engagement through a series of institutional visits focused on digital transformation and leadership.

• Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) – advancing smart city frameworks, data-driven governance, and innovation ecosystems

• Exploration of smart city strategies anchored on data integration, digital infrastructure, and cross-sector collaboration

• Courtesy visit to the Philippine Ambassador, emphasizing the role of diplomacy in strengthening international academic and development partnerships

A key message that resonated throughout the engagement: leadership today must be enlightened—grounded in vision, driven by courage, and guided by compassion.

These activities further reinforced LNU’s direction toward a globally connected, innovation-driven, and people-centered institution.strengthening LNU’s global engagement and innovation agenda.
