LNU Adheres to Quality Assurance in ETEAAP through Assessor Orientation and Capacity Building

In continued commitment to the advancement of quality education through competence, collaboration, and excellence, the Leyte Normal University Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) successfully conducted the Assessors’ Orientation and Capacity Building on Equivalency and Accreditation via Zoom on April 10, 2026.

The activity was actively participated in by University officials, University President, Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino; Vice President for Academic Services, Dr. Lina G. Fabian; Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Billy A. Danday, together with Associate Dean, Dr. Myrna L. Macalinao; and Dean of the College of Management and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Evangeline V. Sanchez, together with Associate Dean, Prof. Emily Jill T. Nival; alongside internal and external assessors. It served as a full-day professional engagement aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and enhancing the implementation of ETEEAP processes.

Resource speakers Mr. Angelo Marco U. Lacson, Vice Chancellor for Academics, and Mr. Melbourne B. Piccio, ETEEAP Coordinator of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, shared valuable insights and best practices that support the continuous improvement of assessment systems and program implementation.

LNU ETEEAP extends its sincere appreciation to all participating assessors for their active engagement and meaningful contributions, which greatly contributed to the success of the activity.

Committed to providing the pathway to accelerated professional placement, the LNU ETEEAP Assessor Orientation was an initial translation of its vision of valuing people and their path to lifelong learning.

The assessor orientation activity was spearheaded and facilitated by the LNU ETEEAP office through its Director, Dr. Perlita M. Vivero and Office Staff, Ms. Simdie S. Dicot.
