PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES (April 24, 2026) – Gawad Yamang Isip Awards Organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL).

Leyte Normal University (LNU) was honored with an Intellectual Property Citation after being named the 2025 Top Copyright Filer during the Gawad Yamang Isip Awards 2026. The recognition highlights LNU’s strong commitment to protecting and promoting intellectual property in academic and creative works.

The award was formally presented on April 24, 2026, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, underscoring the university’s growing impact in innovation and knowledge creation.
