TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (April 27, 2026) – Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing Between Leyte Normal University (LNU) and the Department of Justice – Parole and Probation Administration (DOJ-PPA) at LNU Hotel Crescencia.

LNU formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the DOJ-PPA for Project Pathways to Rehabilitation and Entrepreneurship (PRE) on April 27, 2026, at LNU Hotel Crescencia.

The signing was led by DOJ-PPA Regional Director Ma. Beverlyn D. Ampo and LNU President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino, together with key officials, including CME Dean Dr. Evangeline V. Sanchez, CESO Director Dr. Lowell A. Quisumbing, and Project PRE Leader Dr. Myrna O. Piedad, alongside faculty members.

The partnership aims to advance community-based rehabilitation by providing skills training, capacity-building programs, and holistic support for probationers and parolees. Anchored on restorative justice, Project PRE seeks to empower beneficiaries toward successful reintegration while promoting inclusive and sustainable community development.
