Leyte Normal University (LNU) has formally applied for a Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Doctor of Philosophy in Social Science Research (PhD-SSR), reinforcing its commitment to advancing graduate education and research excellence.

During the COPC evaluation, the PhD-SSR was notably described as a “beautiful program” by evaluators, citing its strong design, coherence, and relevance. It also stands out as a unique offering, currently available only at LNU in the entire Philippines.

The program is designed to develop advanced theoretical, philosophical, and applied research competencies among professionals in the social sciences. It aims to produce highly skilled researchers capable of generating innovative, evidence-based solutions to complex societal challenges.
