No distance is too far for LNU-ILS! Despite travel constraints caused by the global energy crisis, our brilliant delegates made a massive impact virtually at the recently wrapped 19th Young Researchers of Natural Science Conference (YRoNS) and Nurturing Leadership Program (NLP).

Hosted by the Amity Group of Schools in Noida, India, from April 19-24, 2026, this year’s gathering challenged young minds with the theme: “Green Innovations – Natural Sciences for a Better World.”

We are incredibly proud to share that our students were the sole representatives from the Philippines! They proudly raised our flag by presenting their innovative research papers and sharing our rich heritage through a captivating cultural performance. Furthermore, they engaged in meaningful cultural and academic exchanges with fellow student delegates from India, Hungary, South Korea, and Germany.

The event was beautifully capped off with an inspiring closing message from the LNU President, Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino. He expressed profound gratitude to the Amity Group for their inclusive and visionary leadership, ensuring no student was left behind despite the global hurdles. Reflecting on Dr. Jose Rizal’s famous words, President Villarino highlighted the transformative power of these international platforms, noting: “Because of platforms like YRoNS, the youth are no longer just the hope of our individual nations, they are the hope of our entire world.”

Of course, this massive success would not have been possible without the incredible support of the parents, who cheered and guided our delegates every step of the way. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the visionary leadership of Prof. Loerna Ripalda, Principal/Director of ILS, whose unwavering dedication continues to propel our students toward international excellence!
