Leyte Normal University (LNU) joined the Online Orientation on the Provisions of Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, conducted by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) on May 6, 2026 from 8:00AM- 5:00 PM via the MS Teams teleconferencing platform.
The virtual orientation gathered representatives from various government agencies, including LNU, as part of ARTA’s continuing efforts to strengthen compliance with national policies on efficient public service delivery. The activity forms part of ARTA’s mandate under Section 17 of Republic Act No. 11032, which directs the Authority to oversee the implementation of anti-red tape measures and monitor the compliance of covered agencies.
The orientation aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the key provisions of the law, its implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), and related ARTA issuances. It also sought to equip agencies with the necessary knowledge and tools to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the respective offices.
Through this initiative, ARTA continues to reinforce its commitment to promoting a more responsive and citizen-centered government. LNU’s participation reflects its dedication to aligning institutional processes with national standard, ensuring efficient service delivery to its stakeholders. The activity ultimately underscored the importance of collaboration among government agencies in fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and ease of doing business in the public sector.
