TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (May 15, 2026) – Training on Emergency Skills Response at Leyte Normal University (LNU) Admin Ballroom.

The Sustainability, Climate, and Disaster Resilience Office (SCDRO) of LNU headed by Prof. Jose Ismael Salamia, conducted the Emergency Response Skills Training on May 15, 2026 at the LNU Admin Ballroom.

The training focused on Basic Life Saving, First Aid in Schools, Basic Bandaging, and Patient Carry Techniques, equipping participants with practical knowledge and emergency response skills essential in school and community settings.

Mr. Charlie Ripalda, Founding Member of the Tacloban City Rescue Unit, served as the resource speaker during the activity, sharing his expertise and demonstrations on proper emergency response procedures.
