LNU Unveils Cradle Care Center

TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (June 3, 2026) – Simultaneous Launching of the Project PAGIBIG Family Empowerment Center

Leyte Normal University (LNU) joined state universities and colleges across the country in the simultaneous launching of the Project PAG-IBIG Family Empowerment Center on June 3, 2026.

As part of the nationwide initiative, the University formally unveiled the LNU Cradle Care Center through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking its commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children and families within the academic community.

The program featured a Message of Commitment from University President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino, who underscored the University’s support for child-centered and family-oriented initiatives. Meanwhile, Atty. Alma Sonia Q. Sanchez-Danday, focal person of the LNU Cradle Care Center, delivered the Statement of Purpose, highlighting the center’s role in promoting early childhood care and development.

The establishment of the LNU Cradle Care Center reflects the University’s continuing efforts to strengthen inclusive and responsive services for its stakeholders. Further details and updates regarding the center’s programs and services will be announced in the coming weeks.
