LNU Recognizes March 2026 LET Topnotchers During Courtesy Call

Leyte Normal University (LNU) President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino warmly received and recognized three Normalistas who earned top ranks in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) during a courtesy call held at the Office of the University President in Tacloban City on June 18, 2026.

The courtesy call celebrated the outstanding achievements of the University’s newest board topnotchers, whose exemplary performance further strengthened LNU’s reputation as a premier teacher education institution in the country.

Leading the University’s roster of topnotchers in the elementary level was Alliah Mae Montilla Cotejar, who secured the 9th rank with a rating of 93.00 percent. Joining her was Chona Boltron Sabas, who placed 10th with a rating of 92.80 percent.

In the secondary level, Julianne Oriendo Sabalberino earned the 9th rank with a rating of 93.40 percent, adding another milestone to the University’s record of excellence in teacher education.

During the meeting, the University President personally congratulated the topnotchers for their remarkable achievement and presented them with cash incentives in recognition of their commitment to academic excellence. Also present during the courtesy call were faculty members led by Dr. Billy Danday, Dean of the College of Education.

The recognition served as an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the three Normalistas and inspire future educators to pursue excellence in their academic and professional endeavors.
