PALO, LEYTE, PHILIPPINES – Project BASIC (Bridging Institutions and Stakeholders for Inclusive Governance) held on September 17, 2026 at Leyte Convention Complex.

Leyte Normal University (LNU) received the Higher Education Resource Partnership Award from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Region VIII in recognition of its valuable partnership in advancing accessible, responsive, and quality higher education through effective and responsible management of public resources.

LNU President Dr. Gil Nicetas B. Villarino received the award on behalf of the University during the Project BASIC held on September 17, 2026, at the Leyte Convention Complex in Palo, Leyte.

The recognition underscores LNU’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and promoting responsible public financial management toward inclusive and sustainable governance.
