Leyte Normal University (LNU) formalized its partnerships with First Place, Inc. and Experience Abroad LLC through the signing of respective Memoranda of Agreement on September 23, 2026, at the Office of the University President.

Led by the College of Management and Entrepreneurship – HM/TM Department, the signing established a partnership aimed at strengthening opportunities for qualified LNU students to participate in international practicum, internship, training, and cultural exchange programs. The collaboration provides a pathway for students to gain practical experience while developing professional and intercultural competencies in an international setting.

Following the signing, an orientation on international internship, practicum, and cultural exchange opportunities was conducted at the Hotel Crescencia Function Hall, LNU Youngfield Campus. The orientation introduced participants to programs offered by First Place, Inc. and Experience Abroad LLC, providing information on available international opportunities and the processes involved in participating in such programs.

Through the partnership, LNU continues to provide students with opportunities to broaden their academic and professional experiences beyond the university setting, while developing industry experience, professional skills, intercultural competence, and global exposure. As the University expands its international linkages, these opportunities strengthen LNU’s commitment to quality and excellence while nurturing globally recognized, socially responsive graduates prepared to contribute meaningfully to society and the wider world.
