Leyte Normal University (LNU) successfully conducted the 2026 In-House Research Review and Publication Bootcamp on September 24 and 25, 2026, via Zoom. The two-day activity aimed to further enhance the quality of research and strengthen the capacity of LNU faculty members toward publishing their studies in reputable academic publications.

With the theme “From Research to Recognition: Advancing Scholarly Excellence through High-Impact Publication,” the activity featured research studies of LNU faculty members through 10-minute presentations. The studies covered the fields of Science, Technology, AI and Data Analytics; Education, Teacher Development and Learning Sciences; and Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, Culture, Business and Professional Studies.

Following each presentation, the papers underwent thorough evaluation by experts from various higher education institutions (HEIs) across the country. The reviewers provided comments and recommendations aimed at further improving the quality and content of the studies, as well as enhancing their potential for publication.

Serving as reviewers for Science, Technology, AI and Data Analytics were Dr. Larmie Feliscuzo of Cebu Institute of Technology-University and Dr. Anna Liza Ramos of St. Michael’s College of Laguna. For Education, Teacher Development and Learning Sciences, the reviewers were Dr. Enriquita Reston of the University of San Carlos and Dr. Abriel Bulasag of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Meanwhile, Dr. Aris Lapada of Eastern Samar State University and Dr. Marife Mustacisa of Samar State University served as reviewers for studies under Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, Culture, Business and Professional Studies.

Overall, the 2026 In-House Research Review and Publication Bootcamp served as a valuable opportunity to further develop the research of LNU faculty members through expert evaluation and guidance. The activity also reflects LNU’s continuing commitment to strengthening its research culture, promoting academic excellence, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge through quality and meaningful publications.
