LNU Strengthens Global Partnerships through HEPCON 2026

CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES – Higher Education Partnerships Conference (HEPCON) 2026 held in Cebu City.

Leyte Normal University (LNU) strengthened its internationalization efforts through its participation in the Higher Education Partnerships Conference (HEPCON) 2026 held on October 1–2 in Cebu City, represented by Dr. Orlando P. Vinculado, Jr., Director of the Center for International Studies, Collaborations, Mobility, and University Rankings.

The conference brought together higher education leaders, internationalization practitioners, government representatives, and academic and industry partners to discuss emerging directions in international higher education, partnerships, mobility, and artificial intelligence.

LNU engaged in bilateral meetings with prospective and existing partners, exploring opportunities for student and faculty mobility, internships, scholarships, research collaboration, transnational education, and digital recruitment. The engagements highlighted the need to translate partnerships into active and measurable collaborations supporting academic mobility, research, student development, and LNU’s broader internationalization agenda.
