TACLOBAN CITY – Leyte Normal University (LNU) welcomed a delegation from Buenavista Community College (BCC) in the province of Bohol, led by its President, Dr. Analiza L. Chua, for a benchmarking visit on October 23, 2026, at the LNU Administration Ballroom in Tacloban City.

The engagement focused on sharing best practices in the development and implementation of academic programs across LNU’s diverse offerings, including Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Information Technology, Social Work, Entrepreneurship, Elementary Education, Physical Education, and Early Childhood Education. The program featured presentations by LNU program heads, an open forum, and a campus tour, providing the visiting delegation with opportunities to exchange insights and learn from LNU’s institutional practices.

Anchored in the belief that knowledge should be shared rather than guarded, the benchmarking visit underscored LNU’s commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and the strengthening of higher education institutions.
