LNU Forges Partnership with Tzu Chi Philippines to Empower Scholars
Leyte Normal University (LNU) officially inked a MOA partnership with Tzu Chi Philippines on February 17, 2025, at the LNU Admin Ballroom.
The partnership aims to provide scholarships to 14 LNU students, reinforcing Tzu Chi Philippines’ mission of making education accessible. LNU reaffirmed its dedication to fostering collaborations that enhance academic opportunities for its scholars.
The ceremony was attended by LNU President Dr. Evelyn B. Aguirre, Vice President for Academic Services (VPAS) Dr. Lina G. Fabian, Scholarship Director Prof. Liza Bacierra, and other university officials. Representing Tzu Chi Philippines were CEO Henry Yuñez, Head Volunteer of the Tzu Chi Educational Assistance Program Rosa So, along with Tzu Chi volunteers from Manila and Leyte.
