Office of Research and Innovation Conducts Training on Machine Learning and Data Analytics
Leyte Normal University, through its Office of Research and Innovation, hosted a training workshop titled “Learning Through Data Analytics: Decision Tree Algorithm – Machine Learning Training Workshop” from August 12–14, 2025, at the LNU Ballroom. The event brought together experts and faculty researchers from all colleges to deepen understanding of data analytics.
The workshop featured a comprehensive blend of lectures, hands-on sessions, and research writing guidance led by resource speaker Dr. Las Johansen B. Caluza, Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The program also included intensive research writing workshops, peer review sessions, and presentations of research outputs, equipping attendees with the expertise to produce clear, well-structured, and impactful research grounded in data-driven analysis.
