DILG and LNU Forge Partnerships to Power Decentralization Breakthrough in Eastern Visayas
The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 08 (DILG RO8), represented by Regional Director Arnel M. Agabe, and Leyte Normal University (LNU), headed by University President Gil Nicetas B. Villarino, have formalized a partnership to spearhead the research component of the Regional Decentralization Conference (RDC) 2025 through a Memorandum of Agreement signed on August 29, 2025.
The collaboration aims to deliver evidence-based insights on decentralization issues in Region VIII, with LNU’s Office of Research and Innovation leading the study. Research findings will be presented during the RDC 2025.
