Normalistas Join Global Drive, Leads World Cleanup Day 2025 Activity
Leyte Normal University (LNU) joined the global observance of World Cleanup Day 2025 on September 20, 2025, with a cleanup activity.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Community Extension and Services Office (CESO) in partnership with the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) under the National Service Training Program (NSTP).The event gathered CWTS student-volunteers, faculty, and staff who collectively took part in cleaning and improving identified areas including their respected communities and the university’s premises.
The activity supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 11, 13, 14, and 15, which emphasize sustainable cities and communities, climate action, life below water, and life on land.
