LNU Officials, SSC Officers Partner with Joint Task Force Tandaya for Relief Assistance Distribution
Leyte Normal University, led by University President Dr. Gil Nicetas Villarino together with university officials and the Supreme Student Council, partnered with the Joint Task Group Tandaya of the Philippine Army, the Office of Civil Defense, private organizations, Bombo Radyo Tacloban, and other agencies to distribute relief assistance to those affected by the recent fire in Brgy. 45, Sta. Cruz, Tacloban City. The assistance included hygiene kits, dinner meals, bottled water, and five kilograms of rice for each recipient.
A total of 40 students and seven families temporarily staying at the university guest house received the aid. The turnover highlighted the collaborative efforts in extending timely support to students and their families.
