LNU Holds Orientation on Institutional Accreditation
TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES (Oct. 20-21, 2025) — Conduct of General Orientation and Workshop on the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP) Institutional Accreditation at LNU Ballroom Hall.
Leyte Normal University (LNU) conducted the General Orientation and Workshop on the AACUP Institutional Accreditation on October 20–21, 2025. The event aimed to orient faculty members, administrators, and staff on the standards, processes, and requirements set by accrediting bodies to ensure institutional excellence.
Leading the team from AACCUP was its Executive Director and President of the ASEAN Quality Assurance Network, Dr. Milabel E. Ho. As the resource speaker, Dr. Ho elaborated on the key areas of evaluation, including governance, instruction, research, extension, and student services.
The orientation formed part of LNU’s ongoing initiatives to strengthen its internal quality assurance system and sustain its reputation as a leading higher education institution in Eastern Visayas.
