Symphonic Explorations goes to TACLOBAN!
Calling all musicians, students, and music lovers, join us in Tacloban and be one of those who have experienced the joy of learning, playing, and creating music with the Manila Symphony Orchestra!
Symphonic Explorations is a unique initiative of the Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) to bring the experience of live orchestral music all over the various regions of the Philippines. This is done not only through curated and annotated performances of orchestral music but also via engaging local music enthusiasts and students to participate in an intensive workshops that will enable them to participate as actual musicians performing alongside MSO members during the concert.
We believe that there is an abundance of musical talent around the country waiting to be discovered and engaged, and the experience of learning and performing alongside musicians of the MSO will be an unforgettable and inspiring life experience for everyone.
Supported by JTI Philippines and as one of the main thrusts of the MSO’s #RoadTo100 initiative, Symphonic Explorations had already engaged hundreds of local musicians and thousands of listeners from Cebu, Bacolod, Las Pinas, Lipa City, Lian City, Cagayan De Oro and Ilocos Sur, as well as schools such as La Salle Lipa and Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
