ILS Inks MOU with Ritsumeikan Junior and Senior High School to Strengthen PH-Japan Academic ties

KYOTO, JAPAN (Nov. 10, 2025) — Leyte Normal University-Integrated Laboratory School (LNU-ILS) MOA Signing with Ritsumeikan Junior and Senior High School in Kyoto, Japan.

Leyte Normal University–Integrated Laboratory School (LNU-ILS) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ritsumeikan Junior and Senior High School of Kyoto, Japan, on November 10, 2025, solidifying a new phase of international academic collaboration.

The ceremony, held at the Ritsumeikan campus, was attended by Mr. Yasuhiro Higashitani, Principal of Ritsumeikan, Professor Lorena M. Ripalda, Director of LNU-ILS, and Dr. Orlando P. Vinculado, Jr., Director of the LNU Office of International Affairs and External Linkages.

The agreement highlights both institutions’ shared commitment to promoting global learning, intercultural understanding, and academic excellence through student and faculty exchanges, joint educational activities, and collaborative programs.
