LNU and BISU Strengthen Ties Through a Learning Visit


Leyte Normal University (LNU) President Dr. Evelyn B. Aguirre welcomed a delegation of 27 personnel from Bohol Island State University (BISU) for a learning visit aimed at fostering collaboration and sharing best practices between the two institutions. This visit, dubbed “PAGPAAMBIT: Sharing of Experiences,” took place on September 25, 2024, at the LNU Administration Ballroom.

During the event, LNU showcased its Futures Thinking Initiatives, highlighting the success of its Bachelor of Music in Music Education (BMME) and Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) programs.

The BISU delegation also toured LNU’s state-of-the-art facilities, providing both universities with an opportunity to explore potential avenues for institutional growth and development.

The visit underscored the importance of collaboration in higher education, with both universities reaffirming their commitment to academic excellence and community impact. It also marked a significant step towards strengthening ties between the two institutions, paving the way for future collaboration and knowledge sharing.
