LNU Students Clinch 3rd Place in DILG-8 Quiz Bee
Students from the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BAPOS) program at Leyte Normal University (LNU) emerged as champions, securing 1st place in the “Paisan-isan: DILG 8 Local Governance Quiz 2024.” The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 8 organized the event at their Regional Training Center in Tacloban City on October 10.
Representing LNU were BAPOS students Japhet Ramal, Emmanuele Gorme, Casey Elatico, Rasheed Luke Abordo, and Marielle Macion. Their coaches include BAPOS faculty members, Ms. Jean Edith Costelo, Mr. Jobert Narte, and Mr. Andrew Siguan.
The competition drew participation from various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Tacloban City and focused on topics related to local governance, public administration, and key policies under the DILG.
