BAPoS Students Shine in International Short Film Competition
Leyte Normal University’s Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BAPoS) students showcased their exceptional talent in the Real to Reel Gen Z Short Film Competition, organized by Pioneer Your Insurance on Friday, January 17, at Greenbelt 3 Cinemas in Makati City.
The short film Ang Panawagan ni Googly, created by Jerry Surpia, Glenn Arthur Faller, and Jaff Jaro, emerged as the Champion of the prestigious competition. Meanwhile, the entry Swerte, produced by Rasheed Luke Abordo, Kirby Lagare, and Cyrus John Delloro, secured 7th place.
This annual competition, which has been celebrating young filmmakers’ creativity since 2014, serves as a platform for showcasing unique perspectives and storytelling abilities.
