LNU Receives Recognition from CHED’s Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards
Leyte Normal University is proud to be recognized as one of the top Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for teacher education by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This honor will be celebrated at the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards on April 2, 2025, at the Manila Hotel, 1 Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila.
The EQUATE Awards highlights higher education institutions that have shown exceptional dedication to quality pre-service teacher education.
LNU has earned this prestigious recognition thanks to the collective hard work and commitment of the entire LNU community—faculty, staff, and students. The university’s adherence to CHED’s standards, strong program accreditation, and excellent performance in the Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) reflect the unwavering efforts of everyone involved in cultivating an environment of academic excellence.
