LNU Strengthens Community Engagement with Impact Assessment Seminar-Workshop
To capacitate the Leyte Normal University faculty extensionists in conducting an evidence-based evaluation of community extension services, a three-day seminar-workshop on “Impact Assessment of Extension Projects: Enhancing Effectiveness of Community Engagement” was held from June 2 to 4, 2025, at the LNU House.
Mr. Francis F. Faderogao, Ms. Dhanica Amor M. Domingo, and Prof. Juan Alberto, experts from the University of the Philippines – Los Banos, served as resource speakers and led the sessions on foundations of impact assessment, measurements and indicators, quantitative and qualitative tools and methods for assessment, best practices, and common challenges in extension and public service programs.
The participants showcased their impact assessment outputs and actively shared their experiences in delivering community extension services.
This event reaffirmed LNU’s strong commitment to improving community extension services based on evidence-informed and community-responsive practices.
