LNU Reinforces Government Procurement Policies
Leyte Normal University conducted a training workshop at the LNU Ballroom from July 14-16, 2025, specifically designed to reinforce the updated policies and provisions of the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) or Republic Act No. 12009.
The session aimed to equip faculty and administrative personnel with a deeper understanding of the revised procurement processes, compliance requirements, and institutional responsibilities under the new law. GPPB Recognized Trainers, Regional Director Imelda Laceras and Chief Budget and Management Specialist Florita M. Lacdo-o, provided expert guidance by thoroughly detailing the intricacies of these updated policies.
Their sessions were geared toward ensuring that participants gained not only theoretical knowledge but also practical insights crucial for effective implementation.
